Those of you who would like to be a student at Harvard or another Ivy League university in the U.S. or UK could take advantage of the many summer school programs that exist. They have been extremely popular in the USA and are increasingly becoming popular in Germany. If you decide to use your semester holidays in order to go to summer school at Harvard, for instance, you will get to spend 2-6 weeks with professors of the university as well as other international students discussing a specific academic topic.
